Overview
Crane hire in Wolverhampton
We provide crane hire and contract lifting across Wolverhampton and the West Midlands, for loads from 20kg up to 1,000 tonnes.
The work here runs from modern business parks to fabrication yards a century old, and the tram line and old mine workings shape the planning. Tell us the site and we will check both.
Where do we work?
Every WV postcode, the Black Country, Staffordshire and Shropshire, and the rest of the UK.
What do we bring?
All-terrain mobile cranes for heavy plant and steel, city cranes and light truck cranes for works yards, and our electric pick and carry cranes indoors.
No lift plan?
Then book a contract lift. We survey, plan and supervise it, fully insured.
Price first?
Send photos, the weight and the reach and a desktop quote follows the same day in most cases.

How it works
How a Wolverhampton lift is booked
Your job
Load weight and size, the site address, where it lands and photos of the yard and the way in.
Our quote
We quote from what you send, and visit first where the ground or the yard needs checking.
Our plan
On a contract lift our appointed person writes the lift plan and RAMS and sends them ahead of the day.
Wolverhampton
Lifting in and around Wolverhampton
We cover the city and its estates, Bilston, Wednesfield and Willenhall, out to Codsall and Wombourne, and across the Black Country.
Where we lift
The city
The centre, Bushbury, Tettenhall and Penn
East
Bilston, Wednesfield, Willenhall and the Neachells and Springvale estates
North and west
Codsall, Perton, Albrighton and Wombourne
The Black Country
Dudley, Sedgley, Walsall and West Bromwich
What we plan for
The tram
The line runs through the city towards Bilston, so lifts near it need clearances and sometimes an isolation, booked ahead.
Getting there
The M6 at junctions 10 and 11 and the M54 serve the city, with the A449, A454 and A4123. Low bridges and weight limits are planned before we quote.
Old workings
Made ground, old mine workings and buried foundations are common. The bearing is checked and the outriggers planned, never assumed.
Canals
The canal network limits which bridges an abnormal load can use, and some yards are hemmed in by a cut.

Can you install a press or machine tool?
Yes. Send the weights and the floor details, and we plan the crane with skates or jacks inside.
